Luzac Junior College opent zijn deuren in Eindhoven

Vanaf schooljaar 2025-2026 opent Luzac zijn deuren van het Junior College – de basisschool van Luzac voor groep 7 en 8. Hier krijgen onze leerlingen de kans om zich in kleine klassen te ontwikkelen en het beste uit zichzelf naar boven te halen. 

Door onderwijs op maat, met behulp van een persoonlijk leerplan, krijgen zij de begeleiding en uitdaging die past bij hun tempo, leerstijl en talenten. Daarnaast is er veel aandacht voor basisvaardigheden, sociaal-emotionele ontwikkeling én sport of beweging.

Sociaal-emotionele ontwikkeling

Wij vinden het belangrijk om veel aandacht te besteden aan het zelfvertrouwen, de weerbaarheid en sociale vaardigheden van onze leerlingen. In een vaste klas met een vertrouwde leeromgeving groeien zij in hun eigen tempo, mogen ze fouten maken en is er de ruimte om zichzelf te kunnen zijn. Ook de samenwerking met ouders speelt een grote rol: we houden het contact persoonlijk en laagdrempelig, zodat we samen kunnen bijdragen aan de ontwikkeling van ieder kind.

Effectief en toekomstgericht onderwijs

We werken niet alleen aan een stevige basis in basisvaardigheden zoals rekenen, taal en studievaardigheden, maar besteden we ook veel aandacht aan creativiteit, persoonlijke ontwikkeling en sport. Iedere leerling krijgt een persoonlijk leerplan. De lessen zijn een combinatie van uitleg en actieve werkvormen die aansluiten bij het tempo, leerstijl en talenten van de leerling. Zo zorgen we voor een sterke voorbereiding op de brugklas én helpen we leerlingen het beste uit zichzelf te halen.

Persoonlijke aandacht

Onze vaste groepsleerkracht is dagelijks verbonden aan een hechte, homogene klas en zorgt voor structuur, duidelijkheid en een vertrouwde leeromgeving. Doordat de leerkracht de leerlingen goed kent, is er veel ruimte voor persoonlijke aandacht, afgestemd op de behoeften van ieder kind. Ouders zijn nauw betrokken dankzij korte lijntjes en vaste contactmomenten, zoals voortgangsgesprekken en tussentijdse updates.

Eerde International Primary School offers private international education for students aged 4-11 in the eastern part of the Netherlands. With our small class sizes, we can provide education, tailored to individual needs, making us also particularly suitable for highly gifted children.
 
Among our students, we have Dutch children as well as children from various nationalities, which is one of the aspects that makes Eerde so special. We celebrate the international character of our school in various ways.
 
As part of the Dutch community, our students are immersed in Dutch culture while still being taught in English.

More information about the Eerde International Primary School

Our primary school is divided into two groups: the lower grade and the upper grades, with a maximum class size of 10 students. Eerde is one of the few international primary schools where you don’t need an international passport or background to study here. Dutch students are also more than welcome to join us.

IPC en Cambridge Primary

International schools around the world typically follow the International Primary Years Curriculum (IPC) or Cambridge Primary. At Eerde, we teach both! With our small classes and academic offerings, we provide a unique combination of curricula and subjects tailored to the needs of each student.

We believe in developing young learners through a unique combination of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), Cambridge English, Mathematics, the International Early Years Curriculum (for our youngest students), along with outdoor learning.

Broad curriculum

In addition to these subjects, we offer music, physical education, philosophy, drama, and art classes to our primary school students. Dutch students receive a set number of hours of Dutch lessons per week as part of the curriculum.
